Overview
Coding for pain services can present challenges.  Coding rules and payment policies can be very specific and a coder must be on top of his/her game to accurately report and to obtain proper payment for these services.   Pre- and post-payment scrutiny has reached new levels.   This requires a higher degree of knowledge than ever before.   With this webinar, we will present information on anatomy to help coders understand why and how physicians perform some of the more common services.   We will present some typical patient scenarios from our physician-presenters' practices.   We will also discuss how to code for these services and help you understand some of the coding rules you must know in order to submit compliant claims.

*This program has been approved for 1 continuing education unit for use in fulfilling the continuing education requirements of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
*This program/publication/subscription/etc. has prior approval of the American Academy of Professional Coders for 1.0 Continuing Education Units. Granting of this approval in no way constitutes endorsement by the Academy of the program, content or the program sponsor.
